I have always been passionate about babies, pregnancy and birth, and I especially love to hear birth stories. I am a caring, compassionate, and empathic person. I am here for you however you need, and a lot times it may be providing a calming presence, but others call for pumping up the tunes. One of my favorite compliments is in regards to my ability to anticipate needs, and it’s amazing to know that my clients feel supported and understood.
Before becoming a doula, I was a civil engineer and a baker. All of my careers have explored different parts of my personality, and I am thankful for the experience. Being a doula is not just a career, it’s a calling. It was a calling I hadn’t realized until I was asked to be a doula.
It’s now years later, and I have helped many NE Ohio families throughout birth and postpartum. I support all family structures, and I’m LGBTQ+ friendly. I have completed birth and postpartum doula training, VBAC training, taken workshops about racism and privilege, being a trauma informed birth worker, and I am first aid/CPR/AED certified for infants, kids, and adults.
On the weekends, I like to hike in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and MetroParks with my husband and rescue pittie.
