Doula at heart.

I have always been passionate about babies, pregnancy and birth, and I especially love to hear birth stories. I am a caring, compassionate, and empathic person. I am here for you however you need, and a lot times it may be providing a calming presence, but others call for pumping up the tunes. One of my favorite compliments is in regards to my ability to anticipate needs, and it’s amazing to know that my clients feel supported and understood.

Before becoming a doula, I was a civil engineer and a baker. All of my careers have explored different parts of my personality, and I am thankful for the experience. Being a doula is not just a career, it’s a calling. It was a calling I hadn’t realized until I was asked to be a doula.

It’s now years later, and I have helped many NE Ohio families throughout birth and postpartum. I support all family structures, and I’m LGBTQ+ friendly. I have completed birth and postpartum doula training, VBAC training, taken workshops about racism and privilege, being a trauma informed birth worker, and I am first aid/CPR/AED certified for infants, kids, and adults.

On the weekends, I like to hike in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and MetroParks with my husband and rescue pittie.

“We were so unbelievably grateful for you to be right by our side through labor and recovery.”

I’m here for you!

I support the choices that work for you and your family, it’s your body, your birth, and your life. No matter what you decide regarding type of birth (home, hospital, VBAC, planned cesarean, etc), pain management, diapering, feeding, etc. I’m here for it.

I love helping parents prepare for the birth of their baby, and supporting them through the postpartum time. I will provide endless support (and hopefully cookies) to guide you through the addition of your child.

My Philosophy:

Inclusive, non-judgmental and evidence based care.

I’m a certified Gift Registry Expert!

Did you know the average parent spends 40+ hours researching baby gear? Yikes! Let me free up your valuable time by recommending specific products that work with your family’s budget and lifestyle.

VBAC Trained Doula:

Not only does this mean that I have extra education on how to support vaginal births after cesarean, but the training also helps parents prevent an unplanned belly birth.
